Walnut frame and Sycamore wheels; Small turned parts including pulleys are in the same timbers.

The weight and pendulum bob are Oak with lead cores; the hands are Yew.

Other materials employed include Brass, Steel, Nylon, PTFE, Carbon Fibre and Glass.
